Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:48

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ma’bad ibn Khalid, from Masruq, from Ibn Mas’ud, that he used to assign two-thirds to the sisters and the daughters, and he would assign what remained to the males to the exclusion of the females. And that ‘Aisha made them partners, so she assigned what remained after the two-thirds to the male as the portion of two females.
