Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:489

'Abdah ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, regarding Shurayh and Zayd ibn Thabit concerning a man who died and left behind his son, his father, and his mawla (freedman). Then the mawla died and left behind wealth. Shurayh said: "The father receives one-sixth, and what remains is for the son." Zayd ibn Thabit said: "The wealth is for the son, and the father has nothing."
