Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:5

Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Ali ibn Salih, from Abu Ishaq, from ‘Abdullah ibn Qays, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: "Whoever recites Surah an-Nisa’ and knows what is inherited and what is not inherited, he knows the laws of inheritance (al-fara’id)."
