Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, regarding a man whom a group of people emancipated, and others emancipated his father: He said: They inherit from one another through kinship (al-arham), and their crimes (diyat/blood money) are upon the 'aqila (the paternal relatives) of their respective masters.
