Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Imran bin Muslim, from Abu Malik al-Ghifari, who said: "The first emancipator, for you are the ones who inherit from him, so the Wala’ (right of inheritance/patronage) belongs to his master."
