Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:558

Waki' narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Asbahani, from Mujahid ibn Wardan, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Aisha, that a freed slave of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, fell from a palm tree and died, and he left behind wealth and did not leave behind a child nor a close relative. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Give his inheritance to a man from the people of his village."
