Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:58

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Bassam, from Fudayl, from Ibrahim, regarding a woman who left behind her paternal cousins, one of whom was her maternal brother. He said: Umar, Ali, and Zayd judged regarding her that her maternal brother gets one-sixth, and he is their partner in the remainder of the wealth. Abdullah judged regarding her that the wealth is for him to the exclusion of her paternal cousins. Abu Bakr said: According to the opinion of Umar, Ali, and Zayd, it is out of six shares. According to the opinion of Abdullah and Shurayh, it is one share, which is the entire wealth.
