Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 26:604

Narrated to us Abd al-A’la, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, who said regarding one who embraces Islam while there is an inheritance: He inherits as long as it has not been divided. And regarding the slave who is emancipated while there is an inheritance, he said: He inherits as long as it has not been divided.
