Hadith 26:68

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Bassam, from Fudayl, from Ibrahim, regarding a woman who left behind her husband, her mother, and her brothers from her father. The husband receives half, which is three shares. The mother receives one-sixth, which is one share. Her brothers from her mother receive one-third, which is two shares. He did not assign anything of the inheritance to her brothers from her father and mother according to the judgment of Ali. However, Umar, Abdullah, and Zayd ibn Thabit made the brothers from the father and mother partners with the brothers from the mother in the one-third which they inherited, except that they made their males and females equal in it.
