Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 11:102

Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Ya'la ibn 'Ata, from Khalid ibn Abi Muslim, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: "For me to participate in a single military expedition by sea is more beloved to me than to spend a *qintar* [a large amount of wealth] that is accepted in the way of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
