Hadith 11:123
Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, who said: Maysarah narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, who said: I asked Ka'b about the Garden of Refuge (Jannat al-Ma'wa). He said: As for the Garden of Refuge, it is a garden in which there are green birds, meaning in it are the souls of the martyrs.
حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة قال نا ميسرة عن عكرمة عن بن عباس قال سألت كعبا عن جنة المأوى فقال اما جنة المأوى فجنة فيها طير خضر يعني فيها أرواح الشهداء
