Hadith 11:133
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Nabih, from Jabir, who said: My father, Abdullah, said to me: "O my son, were it not for some young women I am leaving behind after me—daughters and sisters—I would have loved for you to be in front of me. But stay among those who remain in Medina." He said: I did not wait long before my paternal aunt brought them both, killed—meaning his father and his paternal uncle—having laid them across a camel.
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الأسود بن قيس عن نبيح عن جابر قال قال لي أبي عبد الله أي بني لو لا نسيات أخلفهن من بعدي من بنات وأخوات لأحببت أن أقدمك أمامي ولكن كن في نظار المدينة قال فلم ألبث أن جاءت بهما عمتي قتيلين يعني أباه وعمه قد عرضتهما على بعير
