Hadith 11:140
Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from ‘Ubayd ibn al-Hasan, from Ibn Mughaffal, who said: A son of ‘Abdullah ibn Salam wanted to go on a military expedition, so his father looked out toward him and said: "O my son, do not do it, for the cry for help of al-Sham, if it reaches, it reaches every Muslim."
حدثنا وكيع عن مسعر عن عبيد بن الحسن عن بن مغفل قال أراد بن لعبد الله بن سلام الغزو فأشرف إليه أبوه فقال يا بني لا تفعل فإن صريخ الشام إذا بلغ بلغ كل مسلم
