Hadith 11:142
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, [saying] al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asking him to give him a sword. He said to him, "If I give you a sword, will you stand with it against the shackles?" He said, "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, gave him a sword. He began to strike the polytheists with it, while he was saying: "I am a man whose friend took my pledge, While we were at the base of the palm trees. Shall I not stand forever against the shackles? Striking with the sword of Allah and the Messenger."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون نا المسعودي عن أبي إسحاق قال جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يسأله أن يعطيه سيفا فقال لعلي إن أعطيتك سيفا تقوم به في الكبول قال فأعطاه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سيفا فجعل يضرب به المشركين وهو يقول % إني امرء بايعني خليلي % ونحن عند أسفل النخيل % ألا أقوم الدهر في الكبول % % أضرب بسيف الله والرسول % %
