Hadith 11:151
'Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from Hisham ibn al-Ghazz, from Makhul, from Salman, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "A day of guarding in the way of Allah is better than fasting a month and standing in prayer during it. And whoever dies while guarding, he is protected from the trial of the grave, and his righteous deeds continue to flow for him until the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن هشام بن الغاز عن مكحول عن سلمان قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رباط يوم في سبيل الله خير من صيام شهر وقيامه ومن مات مرابطا أجير من فتنة القبر وجرى عليه صالح عمله إلى يوم القيامة
