Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Shurayh narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah, from Abu Firas Yazid ibn Rabah, the freed slave of Amr ibn al-As, that he heard Abdullah ibn Amr saying: "Indeed, Allah laughs at the people of the sea repeatedly when he settles into his ship and leaves behind his family and his wealth, and when the sea-sickness takes him in his ship, and when he directs himself toward the land, so He looks upon him."
