Hadith 11:197
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, [saying] Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from Asim ibn Muhammad ibn Qatada, who said: Mu'adh ibn Afra said: "O Messenger of Allah, what makes the Lord laugh at His servant?" He said: "His plunging his hand into the enemy, bare [without armor]." He [Mu'adh] said: "So he threw off a coat of mail that was upon him, and he fought until he was killed."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنا محمد بن إسحاق عن عاصم بن محمد بن قتادة قال قال معاذ بن عفراء يا رسول الله ما يضحك الرب من عبده قال غمسه يده في العدو حاسرا قال وألقى درعا كانت عليه فقاتل حتى قتل
