Hadith 11:198
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, [saying] that Hariz ibn Uthman narrated to us, from Nimran ibn Makhmar al-Rahbi, who said: Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah used to travel with the army while saying: "How many a person who whitens his garments is [actually] defiling his tongue."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنا حريز بن عثمان عن نمران بن مخمر الرحبي قال كان أبو عبيدة بن الجراح يسير بالجيش وهو يقول ألا رب مبيض لثيابه مدنس للسانه
