Hadith 11:199
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, [saying] Zayd ibn Hazim narrated to us, from Bashar ibn Abi Sayf, from al-Walid ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Iyad ibn Ghutayf, from Abu Ubaydah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "Whoever spends an excess expenditure in the way of Allah, then it is seven hundred fold."
حدثنا يزيدبن هارون أنا زيد بن حازم عن بشار بن أبي سيف عن الوليد بن عبد الرحمن عن عياض بن غطيف عن أبي عبيدة قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول من أنفق نفقة فاضلة في سبيل الله فسبعمائة ضعف
