Hadith 11:20
Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Hilal ibn Abi Zaynab, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The martyrs were mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "The earth does not dry from the blood of the martyr until his two wives hasten to him, as if they were two she-camels that had lost their young, and they reach him in an open expanse of land, and in the hand of each one of them is a garment better than the world and what is in it."
حدثنا بن أبي عدي عن بن عون عن هلال بن أبي زينب عن شهر بن حوشب عن أبي هريرة قال ذكر الشهداء عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال لا تجف الأرض من دم الشهيد حتى تبتدره زوجتاه كأنهما ظئران أضلتا فيصليهما في براح من الأرض وفي يد كل واحد منهما حلة خير من الدنيا وما فيها
