Hadith 11:213
'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah asked me, "What beast is written upon for you?" I said, "A horse." He said, "That is the ultimate goal of reward." Then he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Shall I not guide you to the most beloved of Allah's servants to Allah after the prophets, the truthful ones, and the martyrs?" He said, "A believing servant who holds his spear upon his horse, while drowsiness leans him to the right and to the left in the way of Allah, seeking the forgiveness of the Most Merciful and cursing the devil." He said, "And the gates of heaven are opened, and Allah says to His angels, 'Look at My servant.'" He said, "So they seek forgiveness for him." He said, "Then he recited: 'Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah...' to the end of the verse."
حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن واصل بن السائب الرقاشي قال سألني عطاء بن أبي رباح أي دابة عليك مكتوبة قال فقلت فرس قال تلك الغاية القصوى من الأجر ثم ذكر أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ألا أدلكم على أحب عباد الله إلى الله بعد النبيين والصديقين والشهداء قال عبد مؤمن معتقل رمحه على فرسه يميل به النعاس يمينا وشمالا في سبيل الله يستغفر الرحمن ويلعن الشيطان قال وتفتح أبواب السماء فيقول الله لملائكته انظروا إلى عبدي قال فيستغفرون له قال ثم قرأ @QB@ إن الله اشترى من المؤمنين أنفسهم وأموالهم بأن لهم الجنة يقاتلون في سبيل الله @QE@ 2 إلى آخر الآية
