Hadith 11:228
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, who said: Al-Aswad was asked about a man for whom something is stipulated, and he stipulates for himself less than what was stipulated for him, and he takes the surplus. He said: "There is no harm in it." Shurayh was asked about that, and he said: "Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt."
حدثنا بن نمير نا سفيان عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال سئل الأسود عن الرجل يجعل له ويجعل هو أقل مما جعل له ويستفضل قال لا بأس وسئل شريح عن ذلك فقال دع ما يريبك إلى ما لا يريبك
