Hadith 11:230
Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Ma'dan ibn Hudayr al-Hadrami, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr al-Hadrami, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The likeness of those who go on military expeditions from my nation and take a payment to strengthen themselves thereby against their enemy is like the likeness of the mother of Musa; she breastfeeds her child and takes her wage."
حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش عن معدان بن حدير الحضرمي عن عبد الرحمن بن جبير بن نفير الحضرمي عن أبيه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مثل الذين يغزون من أمتي وياخذون الجعل يتقوون به على عدوهم كمثل أم موسى ترضع ولدها وتأخذ أجرها
