Hadith 11:243
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, [he said] Hisham informed us, from al-Hasan, he said: Sa‘sa‘ah [the uncle of] Mu‘awiyah narrated to me, he said: I met Abu Dharr and said: "Narrate to me a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)." He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "There is no Muslim who spends a pair from his wealth in the way of Allah, except that the gatekeepers of Paradise hasten toward him." And al-Hasan used to say: "A pair from his wealth: two dinars, two dirhams, two slaves, or two of everything."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنا هشام عن الحسن قال حدثني صعصعة [ عم ] معاوية قال لقيت أبا ذر فقلت حدثني حديثا سمعته من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ما من مسلم أنفق من ماله زوجين في سبيل الله إلا ابتدرته حجبة الجنة وكان الحسن يقول زوجين من ماله دينارين ودرهمين وعبدين أو اثنتين من كل شيء
