Hadith 11:25
Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Sulayman al-Duba'i, [who said] Abu 'Imran al-Jawni narrated to us, from Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa al-Ash'ari, who said: I heard my father, facing the enemy, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Indeed, the swords are the keys to Paradise." A man of disheveled appearance said to him: "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?" He said: "Yes." So he drew his sword, broke its scabbard, turned to his companions, and said: "I convey the greeting of peace (salam) to you." Then he advanced toward the enemy and fought until he was killed.
حدثنا زيد بن حباب عن جعفر بن سليمان الضبعي نا أبو عمران الجوني عن أبي بكر بن أبي موسى الأشعري قال سمعت أبي تجاه العدو يقول سمعت رسول الله إن السيوف مفاتيح الجنة فقال له رجل رث الهيئة أنت سمعت هذا من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال نعم فسل سيفه وكسر غمده والتفت إلى أصحابه وقال أقرأ عليكم السلام ثم تقدم إلى العدو فقاتل حتى قتل
