Hadith 11:259
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Silah, who said: Hudhayfah said: Islam is eight shares. Prayer is a share, Zakat is a share, Jihad is a share, Hajj is a share, fasting Ramadan is a share, enjoining the good is a share, and forbidding the evil is a share. And he has failed, the one who has no share.
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن صلة قال حذيفة الإسلام ثمانية أسهم الصلاة سهم والزكاة سهم والجهاد سهم والحج سهم وصوم رمضان سهم والأمر بالمعروف سهم والنهي عن المنكر سهم وقد خاب من لا سهم له
