Hadith 11:262
Mu'adh narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn, from Nafi', who said: Ibn 'Umar used to go out on military expeditions himself and carry [his supplies] on the back of a beast. And he used to narrate that Jihad in the way of Allah is the best of deeds after the prayer.
حدثنا معاذ عن بن عون عن نافع قال كان بن عمر يغزو بنفسه ويحمل على الظهر ويروي أن الجهاد في سبيل الله أفضل الأعمال بعد الصلاة
