Hadith 11:40
'Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Yahya ibn Abi 'Amr al-Shaybani, from Ibn Muhayriz, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Persia is a butt or two butts, then there will be no Persia after it ever. And Rome is the possessor of horns, the people of the sea and the rock. Whenever a horn passes, another horn replaces it in its place. Far from it, until the end of time; they are your companions as long as there is good in life."
حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي عمرو الشيباني عن بن محيريز قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فارس نطحة أو نطحتان ثم لا فارس بعدها أبدا والروم ذات القرون أصحاب بحر وصخر كلما ذهب قرن خلف قرن مكانه هيهات إلى آخر الدهر هم أصحابكم ما كان في العيش خير
