Hadith 11:43
Waki’ narrated to us, Mis’ar narrated to us, from Abu Bakr bin Hafs, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) recited on the day of Badr: "Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is as the width of the heaven." Mis’ar said: "Whether it is the one in [Surah] Al-Imran or the one in [Surah] Al-Hadid." A man [who was called Ibn Qas’am] said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is for the one who meets these [enemies] and fights until he is killed?" He said: "Paradise." He said: "That is enough for me of the world." And in his hand were some dates, so he threw them away, then advanced and was killed.
