Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 11:47

Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, Mis'ar narrated to us, from 'Awn ibn 'Abdullah, who said: He passed by a man on the day of al-Qadisiyyah whose intestines or abdomen had spilled out. He said to some of those who passed by him, "Gather them toward me, and bring me near the length of a spear or two spears in the way of Allah." He said: Then he passed by him, and he had done so.
