Hadith 11:61
Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, Raja’ ibn Abi Salamah narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Musa al-Dimashqi narrated to us, that he heard Sahl ibn ‘Ajlan say regarding the saying of the Exalted: "Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and publicly." He said: "It is regarding horses in the way of Allah." He said: "Then he mentioned whoever tethers a horse in the way of Allah, not tethering it for showing off or for reputation, he is among those who spend their wealth by night and by day."
حدثنا زيد بن الحباب نا رجاء بن أبي سلمة نا سليمان بن موسى الدمشقي أنه سمع سهل بن عجلان يقول في قوله تعالى @QB@ الذين ينفقون أموالهم بالليل والنهار سرا وعلانية @QE@ قال على الخيل في سبيل الله قال ثم ذكر من ربط فرسا في سبيل الله لم يربط رياء ولا سمعة كان من الذين ينفقون اموالهم بالليل والنهار
