Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 20:21

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from ‘Uthman al-Batti, from ‘Abd al-Hamid ibn Salamah, from his father, from his grandfather, that his parents disputed over him before the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. One of them was a disbeliever and the other was a Muslim. He gave him the choice, so he turned toward the disbeliever. He (the Prophet) said: "O Allah, guide him." Then he turned toward the Muslim, so he (the Prophet) judged in his favor regarding him.
