Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 20:22

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Bishr al-'Abdi narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) decreed regarding the fetus [killed by a blow] a *ghurrah* (compensation) of a male slave or a female slave. The one against whom the judgment was made said: "Shall we pay blood money for one who neither drank, nor ate, nor cried out, nor wailed? Such a claim is void." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, this one speaks with the speech of a poet; in it is a *ghurrah* of a male slave or a female slave."
