Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 20:29

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay’, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) decreed the right of pre-emption (shuf’ah) in everything: in land, houses, slave girls, and animals. Ata’ said: "Pre-emption is only in land and houses." Ibn Abi Mulaykah said: "May you have no mother, do you hear me saying 'The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said,' and you say this?"
