Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 20:32

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Zakariya narrated to us, from his father, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Humayd, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: A man among us gifted a gift to his mother for her life. When she died, he said: "I am more entitled to my gift." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, judged that it is an inheritance.
