Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 20:62

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-A’mash, from Ibrahim, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) decreed the *‘aql* (blood money) upon the *‘asaba* (agnatic heirs), and that the *diyah* (blood money) is an inheritance.
