Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 20:65

Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha'bi, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would issue a judgment, then the Qur'an would be revealed with something other than what he had judged with. He would not revoke it, but he would begin anew.
