Hadith 20:67

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Isra'il informed us, from Abdullah ibn al-Mukhtar, from al-Hasan, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) judged regarding a man who bit the hand of a man, and the man pulled his hand from his [the biter's] mouth, and his [the biter's] front tooth was pulled out. The man went to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "He did not let you eat his hand," and he did not judge for him any blood money (diyah).

حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى قال أخبرنا إسرائيل عن عبد الله بن المختار عن الحسن قال قضى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في رجل عض يد رجل فنزع الرجل يده من فيه فانتزعت ثنيته فانطلق الرجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إنه لم يدعك تأكل يده فلم يقض له من الدية شيئا
