Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Abdullah, who said: Adornment is of two types: an apparent adornment and a hidden adornment which no one sees except the husband. As for the apparent adornment, it is the garments. As for the hidden adornment, it is kohl, the bracelet, and the ring.
