Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1276

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from ‘Awf, he said: Elders from Bakr, from the companions of Qusamah ibn Zuhayr, narrated to us that Hammam ibn ‘Umayr, a man from Banu Taym Allah, had been married to two sisters during the Jahiliyyah. He did not separate from either of them until the caliphate of ‘Umar. His matter was raised to ‘Umar, so he sent for him and said: "Choose one of the two. By Allah, if you approach the other, I will surely strike your head."
