Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Habib, from ‘Amr ibn Haram, from Jabir ibn Zayd, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: "Do not crowd the one whom your father crowded, [who is] your mother’s husband."
