Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, who said: I said to Sa’id ibn Jubayr, "Does a man see the head of his grandmother?" He said: Then he recited to me the verse: "And not display their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands' fathers, or their sons, or their husbands' sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons," until the end of the verse. He said: I see her among them.
