Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1404

Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il bin Abi Khalid, from al-Sha’bi, regarding a man who had sexual intercourse with his *mukātabah* (a slave woman with whom he had a contract of manumission). He said: Whatever part of her is free, it is for him; and whatever part of her is emancipated, it is for him.
