Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1598

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr and Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Ubaydullah ibn Umar, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A’raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade *al-shighar*. Ibn Numayr added: *Al-shighar* is for a man to say, "Marry me your daughter so that I may marry you my daughter," or "Marry me your sister so that I may marry you my sister."
