Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1711

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Musa ibn Abi ‘Aisha, from al-Sha’bi, regarding the verse: "Let those whom your right hands possess ask your permission [to enter]." He said: "It is not abrogated." I said: "But the people do not act upon it." He said: "Allah is the One whose help is sought."
