Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1804

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Numayr and Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No one is more protective (possessing ghayrah) than Allah; and for that reason, He has forbidden immoralities, both what is apparent of them and what is hidden."
