Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1805

Al-Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, from Warrad, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Are you amazed at the jealousy of Sa'd? By Allah, I am more jealous than Sa'd, and Allah is more jealous than I am. And because of the jealousy of Allah, He has forbidden immoralities, both what is apparent of them and what is hidden."
