Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:1807

Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Ahwas, who said: Abdullah said: "Confine women to their houses, for women are 'awrah (a source of shame/to be covered). Indeed, when a woman leaves her house, the Shaytan looks up at her, and says to her: 'You do not pass by anyone except that you please them.'"
