Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 9:266

Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: We witnessed al-Qadisiyyah with Sa'd, and we were, on that day, unable to find a way to the Muslim women, so we married Jewish and Christian women. Some of us divorced them, and some of us kept them.
