Narrated to us Abd al-Rahman al-Muharibi, from Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, from Abu Iyad, who said: The women of the People of the Book are lawful for us, except for the people of war (ahl al-harb), for their women and their slaughtered animals are unlawful for you.
